Roshni Bais is an Assistant Professor in the Foundation Studies at Anant National University. She is an architect and educator whose work explores the intersections of built environments, pedagogy and community life.
At Anant, she teaches creative and technical subjects while engaging students in experience-led learning. Her academic interests span urban studies, human settlements and architectural pedagogy.
Roshni has taught across architecture and design programmes and has written extensively on the relationship between community engagement and design education. Her teaching and research examine how design pedagogy can cultivate meaningful connections between students, communities and everyday spatial practices. She is particularly interested in developing innovative teaching methods that encourage exploration, critical reflection and interdisciplinary thinking.
She holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Anant National University.
Alongside her academic practice, Roshni engages with printmaking and experimental art practices, bringing a tactile and exploratory dimension to her approach to space and design.
