Anant National University, India’s Premier Design University, is dedicated to training students to devise solutions for global problems through creative thinking.

Our DesignX way is unique in helping young designers develop a better understanding of the context we live in through community immersion, innovation and collaboration. About (Department)

The School of Design at Anant National University houses the Design Disciplines of the University, namely Space design, Product Design, Interaction Design, Communication Design, Sustainable Fashion & Textiles, Moving Image and Transdisciplinary Design. Apart from these majors, the school also offers a choice of minors in allied fields a few examples being minors in Design for Health & Wellbeing, Furniture Design, Urban Design etc. The programme educates designers about prevalent global problems and encourages them to propose path-breaking solutions. It facilitates personal development and allows students to explore practical design solutions through learning-by-doing modules.

Required Education Qualification and Years of Experience

  • Candidates having B.Arch., B.Des., M.Arch., M.Des., a Master’s degree in an allied field, or an equivalent qualification (Fellowship or PGDM) with consistently good academic performance of 60% and above.
  • Candidates with research, academic, or professional experience of 2–5 years will be given preference.
  • Experience of working in an institute of higher education, research institution, or a similar organization is desirable.
  • Around 2 years of experience in working with academic institutions or similar organisation
