About Anant National University

Anant National University, India’s Premier Design University, is dedicated to training students to devise solutions for global problems through creative thinking.

Our DesignX way is unique in helping young designers develop a better understanding of the context we live in through community immersion, innovation and collaboration. About the School

The uniquely conceived Anant School for Climate Action consists of the Anant Centre for Sustainability, the Climate Lab, and offers a BTech degree in Climate Change. The BTech in Climate Change is a specialised engineering programme designed purposefully for promoting innovations in climate technologies. It is the only undergraduate degree programme of its kind in the country offering an incredible opportunity for the students to become productive members of the fast-growing $23 trillion climate economy globally.

Role Purpose

To lead the strategic growth of the Anant School for Climate Action through academic excellence, applied research, industry partnerships and student success.

Required Education Qualification

Strong academic credentials with a master’s degree from a reputed institute and extensive professional experience. Ideally an earned doctorate.

Years of Experience

A distinguished record spanning 15+ years of administrative/teaching/research/practical experience at an organisational/department/university level related to climate change.

  • Lead the strategic growth and academic excellence of the Anant School for Climate Action.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing academic, research, and professional team.
  • Lead admissions and ensure successful enrolment of high-quality student cohorts.
  • Develop and strengthen industry, government, and policy partnerships.
  • Drive applied research, consultancy projects, and interdisciplinary innovation.
  • Lead curriculum development, academic quality, and student success.
  • Promote internships, industry projects, and graduate placements.
  • Ensure academic governance, accreditation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and operational effectiveness.
  • Represent the School and enhance its national and global reputation.
