The project focuses on redesigning a Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) device to make wound care more accessible, intuitive and affordable in semi-urban and rural Indian contexts. In collaboration with Studio D-sign Design, the device has been redesigned to make it more user-friendly, enhance mobility, simplify operation and provide visual feedback for patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals. The design emphasises emotional comfort, portability and manufacturability within India’s healthcare ecosystem.
