About Department

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Anant National University (Anant) is a statutory, system-driven body established in accordance to institutionalize quality assurance and quality enhancement mechanisms. The IQAC functions as the nodal agency for planning, guiding, implementing, and monitoring academic and administrative quality processes in alignment with University’s strategic vision.

The IQAC develops and operationalizes quality benchmarks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and outcome-based metrics for teaching-learning, research, extension, infrastructure, student support, governance, and best practices. It ensures systematic data collection, documentation, internal audits, and periodic reviews to facilitate evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement. The Cell integrates structured stakeholder feedback from students, faculty, alumni, parents, administration, and management into institutional planning and policy formulation.

Through regular meetings, academic audits, capacity-building initiatives, and quality review mechanisms, the IQAC promotes reflective practice, innovation, accountability, and transparency. It plays a critical role in preparing institutional reports such as the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR), supporting accreditation processes, rankings and strengthening Anant’s commitment to academic excellence, social relevance, and sustainable institutional development.

Required Education Qualification and Years of Experience

  • Post Graduate Degree with minimum 60% marks / equivalent grade from a recognized university
  • Preferably with background in Data science / Statistics / Operations Research / Data Interpretation
  • 1-3 Years in IQAC / Accreditation / Auditing / Documentation / Academic Administration.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

  • Assist in planning, implementation, and monitoring of IQAC activities
  • Collect, verify, analyse, and maintain domain-wise academic data
  • Maintain digital repositories of policies, reports, MoUs, minutes, and records
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and audit-readiness of data
  • Maintain criterion-wise documentation for sharing with accreditation and ranking agencies
  • Coordinate in undertaking Academic & Administrative Audits (AAA)
  • Assist in stakeholder feedback collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Prepare IQAC Annual Reports, action-taken reports, and related documents
  • Support accreditation visits, peer team coordination, and compliance follow-ups
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the competent authority of the management

Key Skills

  • Experience in developing effective mechanisms for data collection, filtering, and validation
  • Strong quantitative data handling skills, analytical analysis, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace required
  • Experience in SPSS / Tableau / R / Python shall be an added bonus
  • Strong academic writing, documentation, and report-drafting skills
  • Familiarity with IQAC framework, academic quality assurance, and quality indicators
  • Ability to interpret UGC, CoA, AICTE, and regulatory guidelines
  • Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict academic deadlines
